Model of the Month - June 2010

Hey everyone! My name is Megan Daniels. I am 23 years old. I was born in England, but pretty much grew up in beautiful San Diego, Calif. I currently model full time. I do a lot of glamour-type stuff, lots of swimwear and lingerie. I’ve been in and on the cover of many magazines. These include: American Curves, Strobe Mag, Alt Girls, Street King Mag, various tattoo magazines, and many more. My official website (www.megandanielsxo.com) is getting ready to launch, and I am very excited about that. 2010 has already been a productive year, and I have many more amazing things in the works before it's over.

Up until recently I was also very busy with the medical marijuana dispensary that my fiancé and I owned together. It was recently shut down thanks to the wonderful city of Los Angeles. Hopefully we will re-open in the Orange County area in the near future. So, needless to say I support the medical marijuana movement, and hope one day it will be legalized so patients no longer have to go through such a hassle to get the medicine they need.
I don't usually have much free time but when I do I like to exercise, go to the beach, pool, or Vegas (anything with warm weather and water... lol). I love to travel, hang with my friends, my fiancé, my dogs, and my family. I am a total nerd and like to read books. I have also been known to enjoy a nice Jack and Coke, and I love social environments, and going out. I really like being around .

My tattoos:
I have a sleeve. It represents Hawaii, which is one of my favorite places in the world. It was completed by Nik Flores in Fullerton, CA. It has many flowers, water, butterflies, humming birds etc. I really like beautiful bright colors, which I think Nik did a great job capturing. On the inner part of my sleeve is the night sky with the moon, clouds, and stars. And on my inner arm is the Social Distortion skeleton, (which doesn't go with the theme of the rest of my sleeve at all. Lol). But Social D has and always will be my all time favorite band, since I was a little girl.
My other tattoos consist of: Sparrows on my hip, flowers on my back, stars on the back of each calf (also a Social D thing), and the words "love life" on each wrist. I am going to stop one sleeve. Though I always say I'm done getting tattooed, yet end up with another one. ;-) Tattoos really have had no effect on my modeling career. I am very proud of the fact that I was the first girl with a sleeve that American Curves Magazine published. This was a big accomplishment for me. I want to show the world that times are changing and tattoos are beautiful art and shouldn't hold anyone back from doing ANYTHING.
