Born and raised in Fontana, J. King is an up and coming M.C. that's on the verge of blowin' up.  King started out as a Battle-Rap M.C. at the young age of twelve.  He possesses a quick wit, and essential skill for a battle.  At eighteen, he started to move towards becoming more of a songwriter and he has been perfecting his craft ever since.  His influences are artists such as Atmosphere, Living Legends, Linkin Park, Jurassic 5 and the underground movement as a whole.

It takes a strong work ethic to make it in the music biz, and King has just that.  While maintaining a day job as a Safety Coordinator & Fiber Technician, he also manages to perform hundreds of shows every year.  King sees himself as "a harding working, blue-collar, individual trying to make it in the music world.  Not necessarily trying to get rich but to be a success."  For him, success would be "in the next 3-5 years to be signed by a major record label and be heard on every mainstream radio station with a successful CD.  In the next 7-10 years becoming a household commodity and tour around the world.  In the next 15-20 years becoming a Grammy nominated artist like Jay-Z, Russell Simmons, Sean Combs."

Performing professionally since 2005, King has been lucky to share the stage with groups such as DGAF, King Spade, Cypress Hill and NOFX and he hopes to share the stage with Linkin Park, Rage Against the Machine and Eminem.  King is also a member of Low Life Music, which consists of himself, Brodie Split and DJ Souless.
